On July 24, 2022, we celebrated one of the most important milestones of our lives. In the post-pandemic era, planning a wedding came with many uncertainties—but thanks to the incredible banquet team at Lakeshore Hotel Hsinchu, everything came together beautifully.
Late last year, we visited Lakeshore with our family and discovered that the banquet hall at Leith Castle (B1) had been completely transformed. The dim and outdated space we once remembered was replaced with dazzling crystal chandeliers, vibrant carpets, a grand staircase, and a brand-new banquet reception center. It was truly breathtaking—and in that moment, we knew this was the perfect place for our wedding.
We were warmly welcomed by Joyce, the banquet assistant manager, whose genuine smile immediately put us at ease. Throughout our consultations, she patiently guided us through every detail—from venue planning and menu selection to the wedding timeline—making everything clear and manageable. We quickly selected our wedding date, confident in our decision.
As the pandemic intensified earlier this year, uncertainty grew. Yet Joyce stayed in close contact with us, helping us adapt and navigate every challenge together. Her support made us feel reassured and never alone during the process. About a month before the wedding, preparations became more intense, but thanks to the planning timeline Joyce had provided early on, we were able to stay organized and calm.
The day before the wedding, the hotel team carefully received and arranged our wedding gifts and assisted us in preparing the bridal suite with gowns and ceremony props. The bridal suite itself was stunning—bright, elegant, and spacious. Even our stylist couldn’t stop praising it. The guest room provided for us was equally comfortable, reflecting Lakeshore’s thoughtful hospitality (although we were still too excited to sleep!).
On the wedding morning, as we were getting ready, Joyce thoughtfully arranged a golf cart to take us to the hotel’s beautiful garden for photos—making sure my makeup stayed perfect under the sun. It was such a touching moment, and we truly felt cared for.
The ceremony and banquet flowed seamlessly—from the timing of each entrance to the pace of the meal service. Joyce continuously checked in with us, ensuring everything ran smoothly while also attending to our guests with great care. Our guests were full of praise: the food was delicious, the service impeccable, the atmosphere warm and elegant. We couldn’t have been happier—or more proud.
As the evening came to a close, the team bid farewell to every guest with warmth and professionalism. Even after the banquet, Joyce stayed with us, chatting about the day and listening to our feedback until we were ready to leave.
A perfect wedding truly requires the right timing, the right place, and the right people. We are deeply grateful to Joyce and the entire Lakeshore team for making our once-in-a-lifetime celebration so seamless and memorable.
