Sustainable Travel with Lakeshore

Take the first step toward sustainability—bring your own personal items and help reduce single-use amenities.

Eco-friendly travel is the way forward. As part of Lakeshore's Sustainable Stay Initiative, we no longer proactively provide single-use packaging toiletries, personal care products, or hygiene items in guest rooms.

Starting January 1, 2025, Lakeshore will no longer provide single-use packaging toiletries, personal care products, or hygiene items. If needed, these items are available for purchase at the front desk.

  • Single-use packaging items include liquid toiletries and personal care products (shampoo, body wash) under 180 mL, and personal hygiene products (comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shower cap, and cotton swab).
  • Shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, and slippers are provided in the room.

Bamboo Charcoal Water System — Replacing Bottled Water
Starting February 7, our bamboo charcoal water system and eco-friendly water bottles replace single-use bottled water, greatly reducing plastic waste while delivering high-quality drinking water. Guests may use the in-room water bottle to fill up at the water dispensers on each floor.
Sustainable travel starts from the source.

Reduce Your Carbon Footprint — Take Public Transportation
Try exploring your destination on foot, by bike, or via public transportation.
Your journey can be just as comfortable and enjoyable without a car.

Bring Your Own Toiletries
Avoid disposable plastic products—bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shower cap, and other personal items.
We carefully select low-carbon amenities, and we invite you to bring your own toiletries to help reduce plastic from the source.
Sustainable tourism, book your room now.

Save Energy, Reduce Environmental Impact
Opt for a shower instead of a bath, and use a rinse cup when brushing your teeth.
Reducing towel and linen changes during your stay not only saves water but also cuts down on detergent pollution.

Reduce Food Waste — Choose Local, Seasonal Ingredients
Order what you'll eat, and opt for local, seasonal ingredients.
Small dietary changes can meaningfully reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Small changes in travel can make a lasting impact.
Your commitment to sustainability gives us the strength to move toward net zero.
