Guest Stay Guidelines – Lakeshore Hotel Hsinchu

Thank you for booking your stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you! Please review the following pre-arrival information, and we wish you a wonderful journey ahead:

1. Lakeshore Sustainable Stay

(1) Check-in time is 4:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon).

(2) Single-use packaging toiletries, personal care products, and hygiene items are not provided in guest rooms. For more details, please visit Sustainable Travel with Lakeshore ↗

(3) To reduce plastic waste, disposable bottled water has been replaced with a bamboo charcoal filtration system and eco-friendly water pitchers. You may use the in-room water pitcher to refill at the water dispensers on each floor. (*For in-room use only. Please do not take the pitcher outside the hotel. Cold water only — do not use for hot water.)

2. Parking Services

Lakeshore Hotel Hsinchu comprises three buildings: Chalucet Castle, Leith Castle, and Windsor Castle. Click here for parking information ↗. To avoid the inconvenience of carrying luggage over a long distance, we recommend dropping off your luggage at your building first, then parking your vehicle at the indoor parking garage, Parking Lot 2, or Parking Lot 3. You may then register your parking at the 1F front desk of your building. Parking spaces are limited — if on-site parking is full, our team will direct you to our contracted nearby parking facility.

5. In-House Facilities & Services

(1) Guest Breakfast: Served daily from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM (last seating: 10:30 AM). We recommend arriving before 8:00 AM to avoid peak-hour wait times.

(2) Facilities & Services: Enjoy a wide range of amenities including the Health Club, Color Dimension, Gym, Sauna, and Select Shop — catering to both leisure, wellness, and business needs. Learn more ↗

(3) Lakeshore Club operating hours: 7:00 AM–10:00 PM. Facilities are closed daily from 12:00–2:00 PM for cleaning and disinfection.

*Indoor pools, children's pool, Spa, Color Dimension, Little Rainbow Baby Park, and Brick Island are open from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM.

6. Important Notices

(1) To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, pets are not permitted in guest rooms or any indoor public areas. If a pet is found to have entered a guest room, a cleaning and disinfection fee of NT$6,000 will be charged. Any damage caused by pets will be assessed and billed accordingly.

(2) To provide all guests with a comfortable and healthy environment, smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas — including guest rooms, balconies, and bathrooms — except at the designated smoking areas (smoking room on the right side of the Leith Castle entrance / smoking area to the right of the Chalucet Castle entrance). This applies to all forms of tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, and heated tobacco devices. A cleaning fee of NT$12,000 will be charged for any violation in guest rooms, on balconies, or in bathrooms. Guests are also liable for any resulting damage to hotel property or amenities.

(3) Family-Friendly Services: Baby bottle sterilizer, crib bumper, baby crib, and baby bathtub are available upon request. Quantities are limited — please reserve in advance.
